Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking any tour package or taxi rental service with **AVA YATRA**.

1. Booking & Payments

To confirm any package booking, a minimum validation deposit of 25% of the total amount must be paid. The remaining balance must be cleared on the first day of travel upon arrival in Siliguri.

2. Document Verification & Permits

Restricted zones (such as Nathu La Pass, Lachen, Lachung, and Gurudongmar Lake) require military permits. Tourists must submit scanned copies of their valid Government ID cards (Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License) and 4 passport-size photographs at least 7 days prior to travel. **Note:** Aadhaar Card is not accepted in restricted border zones due to security regulations.

3. Vehicle & Driver Usage Rules

• Point-to-point drop taxi bookings are valid for direct transit only. Extra sightseeing halts will incur additional kilometer-based charges.
• For vehicle safety and engine health on steep incline mountain terrains, the Air Conditioner (AC) will be switched off while driving uphill.
• Daily taxi usage hours are standardly from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM unless night transfers are pre-booked.

4. Force Majeure

AVA YATRA is not liable for itinerary disruptions, road closures, or hotel booking cancellations caused by force majeure events such as landslides, heavy snowfalls, earthquakes, political strikes, or administrative restrictions. We will arrange alternative transit or accommodation, and any incremental charges must be borne directly by the tourist.
